HA! Your the biggest scammer of all! My "mini" bulldog I purchased from you is 75 lbs at 1 year of age! Still haven't received not one dime in reimbursements as PROMISED UNDER YOUR WARRANTY!!!!

Nothing a lawsuit wont shed some light on. FALSE ADVERSTISING at it's best, your minis are not minis nor are the picture of health as you promised.

I will also be filing a lawsuit against Evan M. Quintavella. He is scam artist plain and simple.

Stacey:

Out of the 6 references that you gave me only 2 came back good and those dogs are 2 years old..... You asked me to tell you who gave you a bad reference and I suggested that you contact them to resolve any issues that they have with you and their pups. I have not heard anything back from you since.

*************************************************************************

FYI - For all of you see below in Stacey's own words.

Respectfully, I would ask that you all read this thoroughly. I have tried to resolve this personally with Stacey but to no avail get no response via email or phone. My pup is 18 weeks old with congenital and genetic birth defects, upper respiratory infections. Xrays show no sockets for his hips. He will need some sort of hip replacement surgery ($4,000.00 per hip) or something comparable to be able to walk by one year old. In which my vet and a second opinion specialist states are being bred from the adult dogs into these pups.

Perhaps Stacey started out with good intentions but somewhere along the way something went terribly wrong.

We legally have no obligation to you whatsoever. Just so you know too, our guarantee far exceeds what the law requires. The law states that we are responsible for covering any virus' within the first 14 days. End of story. We cover many more things then that...we go way above what the law requires.

We are aware of what is on the Internet. People can write anything that they like.

When you deal with living things, and with this breed in particular..., health issues can and sometimes do occur. I am not saying that we are perfect and that every one of our puppies are perfect. They are living things, just like we are and there always have been, are now, and will forever be imperfections. I will tell you that we have our guarantee in place for reason and we stand behind it.

Under the circumstances we don't feel that we are responsible for reimbursement or replacement of the puppy.

If Stacey is so dedicated to these pups and their quality; and her reputation then why not find a resolution to all these complaints? Instead everyone of them has gotten the silent treatment and no resolution. Her customer service skills prior to purchasing a pup is outstanding. She is very clever with her words and when you question something about their practices she responds with something that sounds absurd but she makes you question yourself.

She states she has a guarantee and also states "We cover many more things then that...we go way above what the law requires." However in her own words says "under the circumstances we don't feel that we are responsible for reimbursement or replacement of the puppy."

The truth is that she is in breeding and over breeding adult dogs with congenital and genetic birth defects. Fortunately some of you have healthy pups so please do not take this too personally. But for the increasing number of us that have been ripped off and scammed by her and this mini bulldog association it is personal. We are spending thousands within the first year in addition to the "mini" price we paid of $2500.00 per pup. I have the x-rays to prove it and the second opinion from a specialist to prove it!

We all know that bull dogs have health issues but congenital and genetic issues that are prevalent within 18 weeks of these puppies lives...IS the fault of the breeder..... knowingly continuing to breed these females with the same birth defects. I would suggest all of you get your pups x-rayed within her guarantee time because I can assure you that you will find congenital and genetic birth defects in most of the pups.

However there is some saving grace that this Miniature Bulldog Association group plans that you will never know. But I will tell you.....it is against the law to continue to breed any breed of dog with congenital and genetic birth defects. * I bought a "miniature" English Bulldog from Bulldog Exchange 3 mo. ago. The seller would'nt allow me to view the kennel. I met a third party in the parking lot of a grocery store to pick up the puppy mill dog (BIG CLUE)! Initially everything checked out okay at the vet. After a few weeks, the puppy was growing by leaps & bounds. At 4 mo. he was a whopping 40 lbs! He needed an expensive surgery for Cherry Eye, which I paid for. A mo. went by and I had to sell the puppy for half the price. The new owner took him to her vet and all kinds of health issues were found; luxating patellas, hip issues and umbilical hernia.. Her vet said in NO WAY was this a miniature! The seller has no interest in refunding a dime of the $ she was paid and I'm forced to dispute part of the payment. BE WARE of anyone selling puppies from The Bulldog Exchange. They own several websites under different names and all family related. Check the Better Business Bureau where they have an "F" rating. Maria, Lodi, New Jersey

I purchased a 'Mini-bulldog' from DawnMarie who was selling the dog on behalf of Evan Quintavella from the bulldog exchange. I received the puppy at 8 weeks of age 10 HOURS after the expected flight time. Evan or someone from his kennel made the puppy miss his flight and the poor puppy was re-routed from FL to TX to NJ a total of 10 hours flight time. The poor puppy was in his crate without the appropriate amount of food and water for 10 hours straight. When he did arrive we immediately took him to the vet the next morning (we did have an appt for that night at 7pm but the pup didn't arrive until midnight). The vet diagnosed him with coccidia, ear mites, ear infection and worms. Now I ask you, they claim on their contract that the dogs are examined THE DAY BEFORE they are shipped, how is it humanly possible that the vet missed coccidia, worms, ear mites AND an ear infection????? How is it possible he didn't see these things prior to shipping the puppy? Something is seriously fishy with this issue and again remains un-addressed. I immediately informed Dawn who submitted the vet bills to Evan and to date I have not received reimbursement for the treatment.

Furthermore, he was diagnosed with entropian (the inverting of the eyelids) and he has had two sets of staples put in as well as surgery scheduled within the next few months to repair this HEREDITARY problem. The cost is a whopping $1500 per eye.

Additionally, this bully is certainly no where near miniature, according to all their sites a standard male weighs between 20-40lbs, WELL my bulldog at 9 months of age weighs 65 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is NOT miniature, not even the small end of a regular bulldog. Had I wanted a regular bulldog I would have bought one, instead I have an enormous dog who at 9 months is obviously still growing. Who knows how much larger he'll be!!!

I have emailed and called Evan several times to no avail. I just want responses as to why my bulldog is so large and where my reimbursement is. Also I wanted to discuss the entropian with him.

I have emailed the following:
4/4/07- per contract email DawnMarie to inform her of the vets finding of ear mites, ear infection and worms.
4/23/07- asking DawnMarie status of reimbursement
4/26/07- asking DM status of reimb, email her informing her of coccidia as well and reimbursement for meds
5/16/07- email to MBCOA re: all these issues and lack of reimbursement (receive a note back with 'we'll take care of it' no reply since)
9/4/07- another email to MBCOA
9/7/07- Letter sent directly to MBCOA listing these complaints
9/10/07-10/23- various calls w/DM and vms w/EQ. DM said she told EQ to call me, to date no call, EQ hasn't returned VM either.

I'm not looking for anything other than explanations.

BUYER BEWARE, you are NOT getting mini-bulldogs off this guy, nor are you getting the picture of health w/these dogs as he claims. It is PURE false advertising to say these dogs grow no more than 40lbs, meanwhile my puppy is 65 lbs and not even fully matured yet.

Don't trust Evan Quintavella of the MBCOA he is a SCAMMER

Almost a year ago, I purchased a mini bulldog from Devan at thebulldogfinder.com. The problems began the moment I gave my credit card information. After I paid the initial 1,200 deposit I e-mailed all the forms and specifically wrote on the credit card form, to notify me when the rest of the payment was to be taken. She did not. Instead she ignored my phone calls, e-mails, and voicemail's, and took the money at her convenience.

I finally contacted the MBCOA hoping to find out some information, and that’s when I heard from Devan immediately. She assured me she was having phone trouble, and actually convinced me that she was going to be in contact with me in the future. I never spoke with her again. I cautiously made my way to the airport and luckily our puppy eventually arrived. After the puppy got here, we immediately took him for his exam, after all we did agree to do so in the first few days. Our boy was in good health but we were notified that his testicles had not dropped yet. It was written down on the papers we received when the puppy arrived, yet I felt entitled to know this information before the puppy was sent out.

My vet informed me that this was not normal for a 9 week old puppy and that the breeder should have notified me first and foremost. I contacted Evan and he seemed as though he was going to be helpful. Instead he fed me lies about how he would cover the extra expenses from my puppy’s surgery. Finally he stopped responding and that was that. My situation is very minimal compared to other stories I have recently read about people who have bought dogs from all over associated with Evan Quintavella.

I feel so sorry for those who spent thousands of dollars trying nurse a sick puppy. My message here is that Evan is not trustworthy, and it is a shame that he is running away from his problems. I have since realized that all of the breeders from west palm are all related to him, many I am beginning to believe are shady just like him. If you are looking for a beautiful puppy, please do your research. These people avoided all of the musts when it comes to buying a puppy, such as meeting the puppies parents( They were robbed they claimed) , and seeing their environment was an important aspect I missed out on. Evan, and Devan LIED to me and never even contacted me back. They are too caught up with the dollars and not concerned enough about the beloved dogs.

John, Christiana, Pennsylvania

My name is John and I bought a mini English bulldog from a company called the bulldog exchange llc which is owned by a man named Evan Quintavella, who breeds the dogs in Florida . I actually purchased the dog from a lady named Lisa Vitale who works for him, but I later found out that she lives not in Florida but in the northeast, I think Ohio . I done this all on line on the web site of bulldogminiatures.com, they advertise how these dogs are better than a full-size bulldog and have less health problems according to what I was led to believe by Lisa, with a guarantee that was re-written since I have purchased the dog.

I spent $2500.00 for the dog which is definitely more than a regular bulldog and have spent in the area of $4000.00 in the 10 months that I owned the dog! This all just to keep the dog alive!! Since all this happened Lisa has not talked to me once and turned over the problem to her brother in law Evan who breeds the dogs. I have contacted the Florida attorney general and the agriculture dept. of animal services in Florida also, and they are not allowed to give legal advice but both commented on if I have contacted an attorney! Evan made me jump through hoops just to get him to listen to me about what was going on with this dog, and in my opinion and my vets opinion he has no regards for the dogs well being at all, just the money he recieves for these innocent animals.

PUPPY MILL MBCOA aka Miniature Bulldog Club of America! These breeders run the biggest miniature bulldog puppy mill chain in the world! STOP MBCOA

I am so sorry about what happened to you. The MBCOA / Miniature Bulldog Club of America puppy mill scam got me too. After doing lots of research & talking to many other MBCOA victims like me I learned that the MBCOA sells large numbers(probably thousands ever year) of sick fake mix breed miniature English bulldog puppies useing the fake MBCOA Miniature Bulldog Club of America to sell them & it is NOT A REAL CLUB! The MBCOA Miniature Bulldog breeders /brokers are all family members who lie & work together. They are a group of puppy mills looking for a way to sell lots of puppies to make big MONEY! I have a miniature bulldog (which I got from the mbcoa/ Miniature Bulldog Club of America puppy mill). My miniature bulldog has so many problems. I have been so angry and miserable about doing business with the mbcoa aka Miniature Bulldog Club of America breeders. I love Mini Bulldogs breed so much but these are not even real mini bulldogs. My dog was promised to be 40 lbs but is now 75 lbs with LONG LEGS! The Miniature Bulldog Club of America MBCOA puppy mill doesn't care if they sell you even a real Bulldog let alone a mini. I would hate to see the miniature English bulldog breed suffer because of a few dirty doers and their (the mbcoa breeders) unethical way of handling business.
I purchased a puppy from the Original MiniBulldog mbcoa member’s website 3 and 1/2 years ago and my mini bulldog has had nothing but bad health problems since day one. In the beginning the mbcoa / Miniature Bulldog Club of America breeders were all about us. I talked to most of the breeders in the Miniature Bulldog Club of America puppy mill group. The mbcoa breeder would answer the phone anytime we called and was always eager to provide us with any information that would get the money to her faster. Once she had the money though, she suddenly disappeared. She never answered our calls and we didn't end up getting to choose our miniature bulldog puppy until about 3 months after we were promised a mini bulldog. Then there was no contact at all. We had no clue when we would be receiving our miniature bulldog puppy until the mbcoa breeder sent us an e-mail one Tuesday afternoon stating that our mini bulldog puppy would need to be picked up at the airport the following morning. I had no time to make any plans; my bf couldn't get off of work, so I had to schlep out to the airport alone and wait for 12 hours, because my miniature bulldog was put on the wrong flight and ended up in Boston . By the time we got our mini bulldog she was scared and filthy and I was so angry I couldn't even bring myself to call the mbcoa breeder we got her from to state all of my complaints (not that she would have answered the phone). My minibulldog puppy ended up having ear mites, a herniated bellybutton (which added to the price of her spaying surgery) and by 3 months of age my mini bulldog had started developing crystals in her bladder which caused numerous UTIs and eventually a stone that was so large it had to be surgically removed and all this before my miniature bulldog even turned a year old. She's now on a specific diet that she will have to continue to eat for the remainder of her life and has had numerous other problems that have cost my thousands of dollars, not to mention the 22 thousand we paid for my unhealthy miniature bulldog puppy. I feel bad for my mini bulldog and my wallet. They have both taken a huge beating thanks to this 'mbcoa club' and their negligence. We received her 'Miniature Bulldog Club of America / mbcoa papers' about 6 months after we picked her up and have had no contact with the Miniature Bulldog Club of America breeder since. The Miniature Bulldog Club of America mbcoa papers look fake and even handmade. I later found out that the mbcoa / Miniature Bulldog Club of America is NOT a real club just a group of PUPPY MILLS that band together to sell more sick puppies. this fake club is used as a sales pitch just to make money. The mbcoa is in NOW WAY improving the miniature English bulldog breed only hurting it. It's awful what these mbcoa people are doing, not just to the customers being scammed, but to the poor miniature bulldogs who are nothing more than merchandise to them. I don't know what can be done about these so-called mbcoa breeders (scam artist), but I am grateful that you posted the e-mail you received with a link to where we can at least voice our complaints. I have recently talked to over 10 sad families that had the same horrible experience as I did with the mbcoa. Please list your complaints too hopefully save someone else from having to go down this heartbreaking road.
Thank you for your time.
THIS PUPPY MILL STUFF makes me so sad. The MBCOA puppy mill needs to be stopped somehow :(

I recently put a $1150.00 deposit on a female puppy with Stacey at the bulldog exchange. I e-mailed her 4-5 days ago requesting some new pics of the puppy. She had not e-mailed me back, so i called her this am and left a message. She did not return my call, so i tried to go to the website to send her another message, but the website isnt there and most of the other websites listed on mcboa arent functioning either. I tried to call her again, but now her phone isnt working. I tried to call the number listed on here for the company and some man answered and said i had the wrong number. I e-mailed the mbcoa, but havent gotten a respones. I feel so stupid. I dont know what to do. Those people are not getting any more of my money, thats for sure. I purchased a male puppy from a lady in Arkansas and he is great. I thought the mbcoa was the top of the line for mini bulldogs so thats why i was going to use them to purchase our female. Boy was i wrong. I thought I was doing enough research and asking enough questions. I would like to speak with some people who have had bad experiences. Maybe if we work together we can stop this madness. Feel free to contact me at danya77@hotmail.com I am so sorry for all you and your experiences. These people cant run forever.
